The 7th issue of the Chinese Journal of Hypertension in 2024 published the "Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Hypertension (2024 Revision)" (hereinafter referred to as the "New Guidelines").The guidelines emphasise that the prevention and treatment of hypertension should be based on the principles of grading, staging and typing of hypertension.
